The Elite Alliance was established to facilitate the exchange of luxury residences between Members of prestigious private Residence Clubs that meet the strict standards of the Elite Alliance. The Elite Alliance was created by DCP International, the creator of the Residence Club concept of real estate.
What services does the Elite Alliance offer?
For eligible Residence Club Members, the Elite Alliance offers the opportunity for Members to exchange Planned Vacations at participating Residence Clubs with Members of other participating Residence Clubs.
What are the eligibility requirements for membership in the Elite Alliance?
Members of Residence Clubs that have been accepted into the Elite Alliance may be eligible for membership. Members must adhere to the policies and procedures of the Elite Alliance as they are stated in the Membership Agreement.
Are there any fees for Members to deposit a Planned Vacation into the Elite Alliance?
No.
Is there a fee to utilize the services offered by the Elite Alliance?
Yes. Upon the completion and execution of an Accepted Planned Vacation Form, a $250.00 Exchange Fee is due and payable to the Elite Alliance by the Member that is accepting a Deposited Planned Vacation. Exchange Fees may be increased from time to time by the Elite Alliance, at its sole discretion. Members will be notified regarding any such increase.
How do Residence Club Members take advantage of the Elite Alliance?
The Elite Alliance maintains a website, www.theelitealliance.com, that lists all Residence Clubs that participate in the Elite Alliance. The website contains information detailing Residence Club locations, Residence descriptions, services and amenities and available exchange dates. The website also indicates the dates and locations being offered for exchange by the Elite Alliance. Members with Planned Vacations that have been confirmed by their Home Residence Club may contact the Elite Alliance to deposit their Planned Vacation. A Member has up to twenty-four (24) months from the date of deposit to accept a Deposited Planned Vacation in the Elite Alliance.
How is an exchange made binding?
An exchange is confirmed by the Elite Alliance after a Visiting Member has completed and submitted an Accepted Planned Vacation Form and paid the applicable Exchange Fee.
Do I need to have a Planned Vacation from my Home Residence Club before I submit a Deposited Planned Vacation Form?
Yes. A Member must have a Planned Vacation in order to deposit a Planned Vacation in the Elite Alliance. Planned Vacations must be deposited more than sixty (60) days prior to the Planned Vacation arrival date.
What if a Deposited Planned Vacation is not accepted?
If a Deposited Planned Vacation has not been accepted twenty-one (21) days prior to the Deposited Planned Vacation arrival date, the Deposited Planned Vacation will return to the Home Residence Club. A Member who has not accepted a Deposited Planned Vacation may withdraw their Deposited Planned Vacation if withdrawn more than twenty-one (21) days prior to the Deposited
Planned Vacation arrival date and if the Deposited Planned Vacation has not been accepted by a Visiting Member.
Are there any restrictions for accepting a Deposited Planned Vacation in the Elite Alliance?
Yes. Each specific Host Residence Club will designate a “Peak Season” and a “Non-Peak Season” for their Residence Club. A Member who deposits a Peak Season Planned Vacation may accept a Peak Season Planned Vacation or a Non-Peak Season Planned Vacation. A Member who deposits a Non-Peak Season Planned Vacation may only accept a Non-Peak Season Planned Vacation.
